Hugging Curves
2016, London
The work is an attempt to strip the pornographic image and realise and revive some of the layers that constitute it. In this case, the work challenges the materiality of the 'digital' image and reproduces the RAW image as a part of the constituent process that turns it into a 'real' image with an intent, i.e. a pornographic image produced to further induce and produce pleasure. But the image itself, has no information about it's own information, and presents itself to its digital networks as break up of data.
